Minds Matter

Everyone has mental health. Some people struggle with their mental health and some people have great mental health.

Mind Matters is a program for youth in grades 7 – 12 to learn more about their mental wellbeing and ways to practice self care. Each week we will chat about a specific topic followed by self care activities.

Topics include: conflict resolution, body confidence and self esteem, stress and managing timelines, healthy relationships, substance use and mental health and mental health 101.

Self-care activities will include forms of exercise, art and mindfulness activities. Each youth that registers for this program will have supplies provided by NROCRC (Nepean Rideau Osgoode Community Resource Centre)

*NOTE  At this time, we are planning for the program to be held virtually using Zoom.  If, however, we receive permission to use the space at the Manotick Community Centre, we would be able to offer this in person.  We will keep you informed of any news in this regard.

Space is limited to 12 participants so please register early.  When you register, you are doing so for the entire 6 week program.  Please complete the form below.  If a space is available, we will contact you with the registration form and program details.
